The GIRL x MODERNICA "DOLL" Series

The GIRL x MODERNICA "DOLL" Series

Introducing the GIRL x MODERNICA "DOLL" Series – a bold fusion of skateboard history and timeless design. This limited edition collection brings together four legendary figures from skateboarding’s golden era: Ed Templeton, Lance Mountain, Mark Gonzales, and Natas Kaupas. In collaboration with Modernica, GIRL Skateboards reimagines the classic Side Shell Chair into a canvas for creativity, rebellion, and culture.

Each chair is hand-crafted in Los Angeles using a process that mirrors skateboard construction – pressed from 15 layers of maple plywood, just like a pro-level deck. This not only pays tribute to the roots of skateboarding, but also gives each piece the durability and tactile authenticity of a board. The result is a piece of functional art that carries the soul of the streets, the skatepark, and the gallery.

More than furniture, the "DOLL" Series stands as a statement of identity and history. These are collector’s items – visually striking, deeply personal, and only available in a limited run. Whether you’re a design lover, an art collector, or a lifelong skater, this series is a rare opportunity to own a piece of skateboarding’s creative legacy.
